SATURDAY - Logan Santa Parade - 2pm; Season's Greetings! The parade will begin at 2 p.m. starting from the Hocking County Fairgrounds and ending at the Tractor Supply parking lot. Come out and enjoy the festivities of Hocking County as the parade feature bands, businesses and so much more. Watch for the "arrival" of Santa at the end of the parade and the lighting of the downtown Logan holiday lights. FRIDAY, December 14th - Christmas Celebration Concert with Bradley Hunter Welch - 7:30pm; Nationally recognized organist, Dr. Bradley H. Welch premieres at Christ Lutheran Church, 69 Mill Street, Athens Dr. Welch has performed frequently in Logan and other Ohio venues and will make his first appearance in Athens for this special Christmas event. The concert will feature classic Advent organ literature with highlights to include an Ecumenical Choir consisting of churches from the Logan, Nelsonville and the Athens area, conducted by Dr. Peter Jarjisian. This event is co-sponsored by the Southeast Ohio Chapter of the American Guild of Organists and Christ Lutheran Church. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall and admission is free. SATURDAY, December 15th - FOLLOW THE LIGHT Logan Church Tour; the Hocking County Ministerial Association is sponsoring the first annual FOLLOW THE LIGHT, Logan Church Tour. The tour will begin at 6:00 p.m. and end at 9:00 p.m. Participating churches are: St. Matthew Lutheran Church, St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Immanuel United Methodist Church, Trinity United Methodist Church, St. John Catholic Church, Trinity Lutheran Church, and First Presbyterian Church. Three tour groups will depart from three locations (red, green, and yellow tickets) and be led by a tour guide. Each stop will provide an opportunity to enjoy the music, splendor and hospitality of the Advent and Christmas seasons. Church vans will be available for those unable to walk the tour. Tickets are available for $3.00. Children under 12 are free. All proceeds will be given to the Hocking Hills Inspire Shelter. Tickets are available in advance from each of the seven participating churches.

DAILY: The Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum at Fiddlestix Village. 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Viewable from the outside of one of the cottages, and accessible by ramp or steps. Through 2012 - "Logan and Hocking County...A Timeline" New Exhibit at the Historical Society features several hundred years of the county's history condensed into four panels on display. DAILY - Paul A. Johnson Pencil Sharpener Museum - Mon to Sat, 9am to 5pm; Sun 11am to 5pm; Rev. Paul Johnson began his collection over 20 years ago. His Pencil Sharpener Museum, previously located at his home, has been moved to the Welcome Center and is open daily. This amazing collection of over 3400 pencil sharpeners has been featured in national magazines and is reputed to be the largest collection in the United States. DAILY (Mon - Sat) The Columbus Washboard Company Museum and Gift Shop - There is so much history from our company and building's past that we wish to share it with everyone. The tour will not only provide historical information, but will also include the opportunity to observe the manufacturing of washboards, and participate in making music with the washboard. The factory will operate daily, as usual, with our washboards being produced one at a time by hand. We are the only manufacturer of washboards remaining in the United States. Our gift shop features our washboards, memorabilia and new line of vintage soaps. The Museum is a WiFi hotspot and offers snacks and beverages, for a place to relax and take care of business. Tours will be offered Monday through Friday at 10:00am, noon, and 2:00pm; Saturdays at 11:30am and 1pm. Special arrangements will be made for large groups.
