May 15th - Hocking Hills Poker Run 2010 - 11am to 6pm; Organized by the Friends of the HockingHillsState Park, the tour will begin and end at Lake Logan State Park Beach. First bike out at 11 a.m., last bike out at 1 p.m. BBQ dinner at beach from 3-6 p.m. Covering approximately 100 miles, motorcyclists or motorists will stop at many parks and lakes, including AshCave. At each stop they receive a poker card and the participant with the best hand at the end wins prizes!

SATURDAY - Logan in Bloom/Paint the Town Pink Kickoff - 11am, Worthington Park, corner of Main and Market Streets. Logan in Bloom kicks off at 11:00 a.m. with an auction at Noon. View displays by the Hocking County Soil and Water District and the Ohio Department of Urban Forestry. There will be a plant giveaway and individuals can sign up for plots at the community garden. At Noon, an auction will be held with several items up for bid including garden sculptures by local artists. Also available will be hanging baskets of annuals and perennials , decorated ceramic bowls, organic fertilizer, homemade bags, and a two drawer tool chest donated by Sears. Hand painted flags by LHS students will be available for voting with prizes for first, second and third places.
